About Palma Vista and Seven Seas

Palma Vista Penthouse Villa is located at Seven Seas Beach, Fajardo. It is a 3,500 sq ft, 2 level Penthouse, fully equipped with state of the art European kitchen, 2 terraces, 3BR (master suite with a king size bed; and two junior suites with queen size beds each), 3 bathrooms, all rooms and common areas with AC. Palma Vista has 2 pools, 2 exclusive parking spots for the villa as well as visitors parking. Palma Vista is a secure gated community, very private (only 30 units), exclusive and close to El Conquistador Resort and Las Cabezas de San Juan.

The views from all the villa and the terrace are spectacular and breathtaking. The front provides great ocean views and views of Las Cabezas de San Juan, The Lighthouse, The Atlantic Ocean and The Caribbean Sea. From the back impressive, gorgeous views of El Yunque National Rain Forest and the Puerto Rican mountains and beautiful views of the country side and its flora. The sunset and sunrise from the top terrace are stunning.

Puerto Rico's El Yunque National Rain Forest boasts the distinction of being the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. It's also the smallest of all the national forests at 28,000 acres. But don't be fooled—there's big adventure waiting in this enclave just east of San Juan. Rain descends on the thickly vegetated hillsides in biblical proportions, making the plant life here remarkably diverse. Beneath a towering canopy of trees, some more than 1,000 years old, fronds of giant ferns arch gracefully over the rainforest floor, bromeliads and epiphytes sprout from every nook and cranny of host trees, and rare orchids dangle in a profusion of colorful blooms.

Also there are beautiful beaches only a few minutes away and easy walking distance; such as Playa Escondida and Playa Colora.

Seven Seas Beach, with crystal blue waters and a beautiful sand beach located at Las Cabezas de San Juan, 5 minutes from the town of Fajardo and in the Las Croabas sector. The clear shallow water is teeming with vibrant tropical fish and coral reefs and is protected by offshore reefs. The region is part of the National Parks system and is considered a "World Blue Flag Beach". In order to obtain the Blue Flag distinction, a beach has to comply with a set of very strict standards in terms of water quality, safety and services, environmental education and information. Blue Flag Beaches are continually monitored for water and land environmental safety.

Playa Escondida and Playa Colora are two of the most secluded beaches you can find. This means that it is a romantic spot, it's certainly a great place for snorkelling and just to relax. Playa Escondida means "hidden" and Playa Colora "hot beach" in Spanish. In order for it to be hidden, and virtually unused, it is in an out-of-the way place — you have to walk about 15 to 20 minutes through a mangrove forest to get there. But the prize at the end is worth it — finding a pretty, secluded strip of beach like this one is always a pleasure. Also the Governor's summerhouse is at Playa Escondida. Playa Escondida is very safe for snorkelling, swimming and/or just to contemplate the beautiful views in very calm non-wave waters.

Peace and quiet is just one offering you'll find at Playa Escondida, and this sedate vacation style can be at Seven Seas Beach though you'll never be too far away, either. Cities are close without being too close you'll have everything you need.

Those who like to be at the center of the action or at one of the top beaches of the world then you could enjoy Puerto Rico's Seven Seas Beach for the beach environment you prefer. It's also a great option for travellers/visitors where a bit of beach activity is the preference - without having to fight for a spot on the sand.

Seven Seas Beach is a popular beach for snorkelling around the coral reefs, water sports, and camping on the beach (with a permit). Several nearby islets like; Icacos, Palomino and Palominito provide even more opportunities for fantastic snorkelling and exploring. Local companies or at local hotels you can organize guided tours and/or for a local company to take you for a fun day. Especially popular are the Kayak Tours of the Bioluminescent Bays in Laguna Grande, which is in Seven Seas Beach and Mosquito Bay in Vieques Island.

Also 7 minutes by car and in the town of Fajardo ferryboats can take you to Vieques Image and Culebra, with more places to explore and beaches to enjoy. Vieques and Culebra can also be reached by air from Ceiba Airport. Ceiba Airport, which is a 20 minute drive from Seven Seas, also services flights to other nearby island such as the US Virgin Islands. Flights from this small airport on the east coast are much more economical than flights from the airports in the San Juan area. Air Flamenco operating from Ceiba airport offer charter flights to San juan, Arecibo, Ponce and the islands of Culbra, Vieques, St Thomas, St Croix, Tortola, St Martin, Anguila and the Dominican Republic.

Seeing more of the island is easy when you take a side trip to see its natural attractions as a part of a day at the beach. A perfect example is El Yunque National Rainforest, which is 22.8 km (14.2 miles)  from Seven Seas Beach.

Also there are plenty places to dine and to explore as well the unique seasoning and flavors that locals have developed. The variety of places with the best sea food you will enjoy is overwhelming and on occasions difficult to decide where to go given all the locations and restaurants, which are great, very clean, using local fresh ingredients and produce and always a perfect service and a smile. From local traditional cuisine to international high-end restaurants at the Waldrof Astoria El Conquistador Resort, just 2 km (1.2 miles) from Palma Vista. Palma Vista has access to El Conquistador Resort with more fun things to enjoy, such as the Coqui Water Park, Golden Door Spa, 18 Hole Golf Course Casino, Stores, Restaurants, Pool Bar with happy hours and magnificent views of the area.
